The "Pareto Analysis" (pronounced "pare-ay-toh") provides a means of viewing the frequency of recurring Processes, Attributes and Causes. It is used to define problems/benefits so they can be prevented or reinforced.

In a "Service" record type a "*" in the Process field of a "Service" record then a "Tab".
A window will open to manage the fault tree available for defining Processes, Attributes and Causes.
Clicking of a window or button will allow you to set the area for Editing.
The "Entry" area at the bottom will allow for data entry and action of the data.
Each time a Process Cause is recorded in a "Service" record, an Attribute and Function (or process) is associated with it.
To use this feature, go to: Review menu > Pareto Analysis. The "Select File" dialog box opens so you can use the "Search Editor" to select the desired "Service" records.
When the desired records are in the "Current Selection" click "OK". The "Pareto Analysis" screen shown below opens. It opens, displaying the Process/Activity titles across the x axis from all "Service" records in the current selection.
The "Pareto" chart illustrates a breakdown of the "Service" records. This is a display of the breakdown of the Process/Activities.
To view the Attributes of a particular process or a Cause of a particular attribute click the "Change" button.
The "Pareto Options" screen shown below opens.
This screen allows definition of the information for the "Pareto Chart". If you wanted to look at the Attributes for the Delivery process, click on the "Attribute" button and highlight "Delivery" from the "Process/Activity" list.
