Populating Choice Lists
Popup and Choice Lists are common throughout CommerceExpert and WebClerk. These give users the ability to enter data from a fixed set of choices. Our definitions are:
Popups are the lists in the CommerceExpert program
Choice Lists are the lists displayed to remote users through their browsers.
These lists may be populated by entering specific entries or by compiling a list of distinct values from the data fields associated with them and replacing the existing list with the list of distinct values.
This tech note reviews methods of populating Choice Lists for the web.
Populating Popups is covered in the TechNote on Popup Editing.
