Listing my Customers
This procedure explains how to get a list of your Customers on your screen and then Sort them in alphabetical order.
Actions menu > Search
In the File to be Searched Popup select “Customers”. In this example we want to Search for all Customers that have a certain Salesperson.
Create the Search condition: “SalesNameID” is equal to “Your name”. Click the “Execute” button to initiate the search. Click “OK” to open the Output screen and see the list. From this list you can take many other actions. You can print reports or letters. Make labels or just open each record to review.
With your list of Customers open, choose: Action menu > Sort.
The “Sort Editor” opens.
Highlight “Company” to Sort by company name.
Click the “Add” button, highlight the Sort Criteria to change the “A” to “D” if you want to view the list in desending order, then click the “Sort” button to initiate the Sort.
You return to the Output screen with the records now Sorted by name.
